I highly recommend using the rollers to press down the sound deadening to really adhere it to the body

Alex is a true YT hero. He always goes from start to finish, puts huge amounts of work and effort + he does not drop a daily vid just for the sake of views. Alex should really have a more than 1 M followers and really it's not YT anymore, those episodes look like from TV just a few years ago :)

Dude I truly appreciate the amount of detail you're putting into restoring this. The DeLorean is super cool but I'm more satisfied with the attention to the little things you're cleaning and repairing. This exactly how I am when I'm cleaning and restoring. I can't do it any other way. You get it! I love that! Awesome job!

I must say, coming from decades of bodyshop experience. I am extremely proud of you. Taking the time and doing things right. My hat is off to you, Ron

For the sound deadening material you need to user a roller to press it firmly to the surface. The idea of the aluminum top that have some patter form is to know what you pressed with the roll and what you have left to do. Just a tip for next time. Awesome work!!! 😊

It was fun to help with the door work and graining. Well done Alex. I know how much effort has been spent. Bravo!

With no training, that weatherstrip and headlining was a work of art - well done! Huge effort on the car and the video - one of the best things I've ever seen on YouTube. Keep it up! Cheers from Ireland!

Yess, video is finally out! My wife got diagnosed with cancer and I am literally in the waiting room waiting for her to come out of surgery wondering what to do and how to process all this and seeing this video truly made me smile and distract, at least for a bit. Great fan of the channel and Alex and if you ever do an Open Doors day for LSC quarters, since we are in Chicago as well, I''d probably stop by and look around, seems fun place to be at :))) Thank you for all the work you do and the great and easy to follow content. Vlad.

I've been ill with some horrible virus since Friday and this video has really helped take my mind off of it, Its really nice and long so I'm just laying in bed with my tablet propped up next to me, thanks you for posting this.

As an OG Tuff Stuff user, this video is far more satisfying than I thought a Delorean restoration video could be. Always appreciative of your attention to detail, and desire to fix it the right way.

Really interesting seeing your disassembly, and how the car was constructed in the first place. I also applaud your attention to detail, fixing all the little things as you go along. I'm still hoping you go the twin-turbo route, as DMC intended, instead of putting some monster V8 in it. Also not a fan of the decal kit, or the ground effects on that other car, hopefully you keep your car looking clean and classy, like the early production model it is. Enjoying this series immensely.

Guys like Dennis are true artisans. After seeing Dennis here on another project, I knew just who to call when I got a golf dent in the middle of my hood. Even though the hood back bracing was coving the dent from underneath. After a few hours it was invisible to me. He saved me a load of cash.

This channel is like no other. Alex, I absolutely love your commitment to “story”. So many creators leave you hanging or bullshit you or worse, there’s no beginning, middle, and finale, to their videos. Your videos are so intriguing and satisfying BECAUSE you tell such compelling stories. Thank you brother.
