Welcome to my channel! This is Andy from I love languages. Let's learn different languages/dialects together.

Persian, also known as Farsi in Iran, is a major language of the Iranian branch of the Indo-Iranian language family. It serves as the official language of Iran and has official status in Afghanistan (as Dari) and Tajikistan (as Tajik). Persian has a rich literary history dating back over a millennium, with renowned poets such as Hafez, Rumi, and Ferdowsi contributing to its legacy. Written in the Persian script, a modified version of the Arabic script, it is spoken by over 80 million native speakers and is known for its influence on neighboring languages and cultures in Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent. Persian's vocabulary and grammar have remained relatively stable over centuries, allowing modern speakers to understand classic Persian literature with relative ease.

Zazaki, also known as Zaza, is an Indo-Iranian language belonging to the Northwestern Iranian language group. It is primarily spoken by the Zaza people in eastern Turkey, in areas such as Tunceli, Bingöl, Elazığ, and surrounding provinces. Zazaki has a rich oral tradition, with distinct dialects that vary by region, primarily categorized into Northern, Central, and Southern dialects. Although Zazaki is closely related to other Northwestern Iranian languages like Kurdish, it is linguistically distinct, with unique phonetic, grammatical, and lexical characteristics. For much of its history, Zazaki has been an oral language, though recent years have seen a growing body of written literature and media in Zazaki, despite pressures from language shift and assimilation.

This video is created for educational, language awareness, and language preservation purposes. It aims to provide valuable insights and knowledge to viewers, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of different languages and their unique characteristics. By raising awareness about linguistic diversity, the video seeks to foster a greater respect and recognition for various languages, particularly those that are endangered or underrepresented. Additionally, it contributes to the preservation of languages by documenting and sharing linguistic knowledge, thus ensuring that these languages and their cultural heritage are not lost to future generations.

As a Southern Zazaki speaker l wanna thanks to you ❤🙏🏻 The Kurds in the comments prove how disrespectful they are to my Zaza people and my language. We are Northern Iranic Zaza people our language is almost %50 same With Talishi and Gilaki languages. Even Unesco recognized my language as independent language. We Zaza people call Dimili to ourselves becuase we came from Dailam 🇮🇷 we will keep alive our language and our everything even if Kurds and Turks doesnt want this

I see the Turkish bots are in full effects in the comments. Zazaki is Kurdish and is classified as such by linguists.

Zazaki is not a Kurdish language. It is a related but independent Iranian language. Kurdish nationalists want to assimilate Zazas into Kurds and annex Zaza inhabited lands to their Greater Kurdistan dreams, and some Zazas are Kurdicized to some extent and are inclined to that idea.
A PROPER COMPARISON

Tunj Eli is an insulting name that the Turks gave to the city after the defeat of Sheikh Reza Darsimi and the massacre and genocide of the Kurds of Zaza. The name of the city is Darsim, which means harvest of jewels! Zamba, in the Persian translation to Zaza, many Arabic words were used instead of Zazai words! For example, instead of Borin ، Afu
