Thanks for this message. I was very critical of a Pastor for a period of time in the past and God showed me my errors. I repented, but this brought the memories flooding back. God help me my tongue was very sharp. I wrote an email to this Pastor at the time and he forgave me, bless his heart. I'm not looking forward to giving an account of that time, but I trust that that sine was catered for by the blood and forgiven when I confessed it and repented of it. I just didn't have the maturity to deal with it back then. This video helps to open my eyes a bit more, and thank God for not dealing with me as I deserved immediately when I fell. God's grace is amazing, and if He can restore someone like me to Himself, no one is out of reach.

This video has been ensightful on how to treat my pastor and things I should keep in mind to respect his personhood. He is not an exclusive servant to me and what I would like to achieve in our community but an advocate for the entire congregation

I've definitely been there in the situation of being criticised from both extremes on an issue as a pastor, and having to bite my lip and remember that the Lord knows... and that's enough!

My husband is soon to take on the role as pastor of our new church plant. This is a very different season for us. Before now, we've never considered a life of ministry, though God thought differently, lol. This will be a by-vocation arrangement for my husband, and this new life change has presented us both with very new and unexpected challenges. Chief among those is time management, specifically boundaries on time invested in the church vs time invested in our marriage and personal lives. I'm also very confused about my role as the pastor's wife?!?!? As an introvert, the level of involvement I'm expected to participate in has become quite a challenge to me personally. All that to say, I would be interested in a video covering the role of a pastor's wife. Thanks for the great content.

I'm in the running for a pastor position. I have stressed two things in every meeting and in every "sample sermon." 1) The primary goal of a pastor is to equip the saints...to make mature disciples who disciple others. 2) This is not YOUR church, it is Jesus' church. This is not your choice; it is Jesus' choice. If you use your own desires, sensitivities, or logic in place of begging Jesus for HIS decision, you are making a bad decision.
