His stop in Omaha highlights the campaign’s effort to win the single electoral vote from the 2nd Congressional District, a swing district that supported Barack Obama in 2008 and Joe Biden in 2020.

I am a Black woman (Gen X) raised as a "military brat." I grew up loving Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, Micheal Jackson, and Prince. So, I had this love of small towns that were so revered in Springsteen's and Mellencamp's songs. Once I had my own family, we drove throughout the Midwest, listening to my songs. And, of course, the people did not miss in representing "those small-town values" I listened to. So, Governor Walz is everything that I admire about small towns. Go, Harris and Walz.
