No idea if it is constructed along the same line as an original - all those cables would be a nightmare in real life to manage and maintain, BUT I absolutely love how this model has been completely designed to function (all the weight ratios etc are clearly designed through calculation). Really really impressive!

An amazing build, and so perfectly assembled and operated. I'd bet that would stop the crowds at any of the big crane shows, especially anyone with their sons coming along just to see the equipment.

I wish that some of these creators would sell kits or the instructions for others to create these great things that sometimes can be better than those put out by Lego itself. Amazing job!

Lego Technic has come a long way since 1977 when I got my first set. (Edit) 2 months later and I am still blown away by this model. Full credit to the builder for making such a great Technic model of such an amazing mobile crane. Thinking about the hours involved in the research and building of this model makes my head spin. This combines my love for Lego Technic and all sorts of cranes and heavy equipment.

Absolutely beautiful build, but you didn't show off everything fully extended, I feel like there should be another 30 seconds of video with the entire build unraveled. Kind of a let down.
