I actually got my first phone at 3 years old but because of my medical condition of type 1 diabetes and I want to mention that type 1 diabetes has nothing to do with type two the sugar one people think. So type one diabetes is like I have a small screen attached to a type attached to a needle attached to me and I can’t eat without pressing buttons and I can be high and when your high you can vomit easily and when your low you faint and now for my 11th b day I will get iPhone 14 because my other iPhone 5s broke

15. my first phone with cellular connectivity was a 2020 iphone se. I had an iphone 6s before that but it didn't have a sim card inside

I got mine at 15. Only reason I got it was because I was playing basketball and getting rides to school so I needed a way to call my parents. I saved my chore and money up and paid for half of it, and the other half I got for my birthday so I pretty much paid for my own phone. I did get a nice new one though just because I waited so long and I wanted it to last bc I don’t plan to get a new one for a WHILE.

My mom got me a prepaid 75 dollar phone from Walmart when I was 8 or 9, only because it was my first night away from home without parents. Had that phone for 5 years.

Ok maybe high school starts cause all the texting and stuff but like i use it for homework and entertainment it is up to u if you think it will help you maybe get but like 8 or 6 iphone is fine to start out with
