Following his stunning single ‘Tunnel Vision’ which was released on Anjunadeep earlier last year, Belgian producer Jerro returns with ‘Go Back Now’, another melodic triumph that features the soothing vocals of New York duo Beacon.

Opening with a swell of warm synths and melancholic lyrics "If I’m not there, are you waiting? / The water’s left the shore, and it’s breaking", ‘Go Back Now' builds a to powerful chorus of fluttering leads. Supported by the likes of Icarus, Marsh, Martin Roth, Dosem, and Qrion, and having released on Lane 8’s This Never Happened in 2018 and last year’s Anjunadeep 11, Jerro’s latest single solidifies him as an undisputed one-to-watch.

I lost my husband 4 years ago. I was devastated. His biggest fear before he died was if i was gonna be okay.
Its been so hard raising our daughter, we miss him all the time. I lost a piece of myself through his long sickness.
When i listen to this song it makes me think of everything we went through...

I have just broken up with my partner of 11 years. This song speaks to me in a way I can't explain. If you are lucky enough to be in love with someone special, don't make the same mistakes we made. We became comfortable in our love, then we became complacent in it, and finally we became careless and before we knew it, we drifted apart. Now I realise how precious, how special and how unique love is in the crazy messed up world we live in. Like everything else, Love needs to be tended, and cared for and respected. Finally, too late I understand this.

Like we've all experienced, every so often you cross paths with that type of track you know is special from the first note; the type of song that dives into your neural pathways almost immediately and you don't forget it. That was "Go Back Now" for me. The second I heard it. Played it on repeat for weeks & weeks. I couldn't quite explain to anyone why it was so powerful to me, but I knew there was a message resonating. Used it as a tool on both my down days as well as the ones when feeling empowered and optimistic for tomorrow. Seeing Jerro perform it live is what forever sealed it as a top track. But this is less to do with me & more about witnessing its impact on a friend of mine.

It was actually her first ever electronic show. It also was coming at a time when I knew she was a particularly low point in life. Bouncing back from divorce at a young age, seeking employment and unsure when "life would get back on track" - she was very open about needing a boost. So I told her Jerro was in ATX and I'd already bought her ticket.

Started out as the type of night that felt like it was going very south very quickly. A group next to us continued to get in our space, shoving, out of control, even with one of the guys motioning his drugs towards her face more than once. S'ppose there was some cosmic intervention because right as we agreed it was time to bounce, @Jerro transitioned into "Go Back Now" - the few folks in front of us stepped to the side and we're quite literally right in front of his table. This was my Jerro track, had heard it 1000+ times - but it was for her in that moment. I asked if she could feel the song: the peaks and the valleys and the momentum building. Her eyes closed, she nodded yes. The parallels felt clear...in as few words that even seem possible now (or maybe more a sense than anything said) I reminded her of her own momentum; nothing about her life was off track but all leading to the path meant for her. It was also a reminder for myself and my own stressors that had been building. We cried, we smiled, we hugged -all while having a force field of sorts around us.

The PLUR icing on the cake....she was set on making a strong first electronic music impression, brought her handmade bracelets and candy and all. Once at Jerro's table she motioned one of them to a much larger guy right in front of J, asking him to place it by the decks. Annoyed, he shook her off. Jerro looked over, smiled, and reached out his opened hand toward her. She handed it to him (then maybe melted, idk).

Listening to this song, I want to dance at the beach thinking about all those people who made my worth it. I want to look at the skies and think about my memories with them. Whether they are alive anymore or not. Whether I talk to them now or have become strangers again. My life is made up of memories given by them.While I thought I had more time but I guess that's what life is about. And just like the song, I don't want to go back and only keep these memories with me until my time comes.
