What about sliders? In cost there seems to be a benefit for going that route over two single hungs. Wondering if there is anything else to consider though when comparing those.

Do you have any suggestions regarding energy efficiency, performance, and durability between the Andersen 400 Series non-tilt double-hung, A-Series tile double-hung and the Andersen 100 Series single-hung windows? I'm really torn between those. Any input would be very helpful!

I do clean my windows, and most you can actually just let the lower sash down all the way and bring in the upper. Or just lean it down on a chair back.

I prefer double hung. Often it depends on where you are located what is preferable.
