Former Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi re-arrested and dragged inside police van

Former Foreign Minister of Pakistan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party’s Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi, who was last week granted bail in the cipher case by the Supreme Court, was re-arrested outside the Adiala Jail on Wednesday. Footage aired on television and shared by PTI on social media showed the 67-year-old former foreign minister being heckled, arrested and dragged inside a van by the police. Qureshi was seen holding a piece of paper and said that he was being arrested again in a false case. 'They are arresting me again in a false case,' he added, 'I represent the nation, I am innocent and I am being targeted for political revenge without any reason.'
