I was at this UFC event live Ill Never forget it San Jose CA. My mouth dropped open when I saw Nate Diez get finished by Josh Thompson

I thought Josh provided a good example of how to deal with a skilled
puncher. Rather than staying in one spot and trading punches with
Nate, Josh hit and moved and used karate style kicks to maintain distance
and to score points.

diaz is smart, ive met the diaz brothers personally. theyre very nice and and believe it or not sociable. they do the things they do in the ring bcause they know they have the mental advantage. the diaz brothers will always shake an opponents hand if the fight ends in fair fashion

Still a fan of the Diaz bros regardless of the fighter politics but Josh was more focused intelligent and poised

Great Fight, Great Finish, Great Interview ... Why didn't the UFC take care of this guy, hardly any exposure

He's in denial about Diaz being the more talented fighter

Diaz can walk forward and throw pitty pat punches and slap triangles on guys who aren't the elite of MMA

but every time he faces an elite guy he comes up short, he's shown to be too slow, he's not diverse enough in his striking, his wrestling is awful, and did I mention how slow and unathletic he is?

Josh showed himself to be much more skilled and diverse

It was definitely not a premature stoppage, Nate got his ass kicked. Plus after the fight, Dana White revealed that Diaz had a cut on his head that was down to the bone, so if you think that that was a premature stoppage then your clearly not smart. You Diaz fans always make dome excuses when one of them loses. Why not just accept that the other fighter was better for once.

Huuuge Diaz bros. fan here. I didn't think he could pull it off, especially in the manner he did, but wow... props to the dude, he's a killer. A title shot shouldn't be too far away.

Listening to Josh’s voice here, it sounds much different to how he sounds on his podcast. I guess he’s getting old ey.

So you only support fighters who win? If the fighters you support lose you support someone else? What a fan you are.

The first head kick he caught Nate with would have probably put me in a coma

nothing was wrong with him.. he was at 100%. he didn't get to learn from the bendo fight because he thought he would had won anyways if he didn't get poked in the eye. so he didn't get shit off that fight. Thompson was a better man he was always 1 step ahead of diaz.. he was simply the better man that night.
