The majority of trees that fall in storm are singular trees and very top heavy root systems help hold trees in the ground during storms remove all the trees but one that tree WILL COME DOWN Unless you can plant a group of trees together or live where you didn't clear off all the property for that "pretty" effect they will fall Lived here in Florida for 40 years cleared around the house but left all the wooded area alone Only once did I have a tree down and I've been through some very strong hurricanes here
