Even though it'll be available at the end of the year. i will still go for Ioniq5 which has more practicalities and more driver friendly feel personally.

Thank you for the review. I will take the Ioniq. Just the front charging port is a no go for me.

"There's buttons hidden in this wood. I know it's hard to see." Unfortunately, that sums up my impression of the Ariya. That and the wasted console space for the little shifter, versus cup holders going left/right instead of forward/backwards.

It looks like they took a lot of design cues from the Ev6/Ioniq5/GV60. At $46K I don't see it comparing favorably vs. the Koreans... The big competitive advantage of the EGMP platform is the charging speed due to the 800V battery system - I'm assuming this is 400V like most other EVs?

Yada yada yada Nissan. You’ve been telling us this car is coming soon for years. And the pricing is too expensive.

Glad you guys are making it! Long time fan! I remember the sub requests.

Living in Ireland, a rear wiper is an essential. Its the only reason I'm not buying an Ioniq 5. The Ariya is overpriced IMO. 87KW battery should give more than 300 miles so its not efficient either. A Niro does more than that with a 64kw battery.

2023 model from Nissan which is still unavailable and it seems nothing better than Ionic 5 or EV6 at all in every corner and this shows the Japanese makers not only Nissan but also Toyota, Honda are way behind in EV development. This Nissans interior resembles like EV 6 though...LG batteries, LG display supplies world best quality products to Hyundai, Kia and the Germans, the Americans but what Japanese do have?

Good luck with that black piano bumper, forgot about keeping it clean, let alone cracking from flying stones

Crazy how quickly this dual spoke steering wheel trend caught on. I really like it. It's just cleaner. Idk who started it first but good on them.

It’s not comparable to Ioniq5….the Korean car outclass this Ariya….

After looking at a ev6 and ioniq5 this is absolutely Hideous

Ioniq seems like the most range for the buck for my daily driver. And that's the #1 thing I care about. It's an appliance to get me from point A to point B. Only option I need is A/C.

You said that the Ariya gives 300 miles of range with the “big battery and rear wheel drive.” There is no rear wheel drive version. It is either FWD or dual motor.
