About the freezing breath, I liked that it doesn't expect an icy substance itself, but rather the mixture would be removed from its surroundings to take effect, which makes it more plausible and indicates the connection with its habitat. 👏

Incredible video and I must say I especially loved the notes on the ice dragons coloration and the chemistry of its breath weapon also on the note of arctic variants of fantasy staples have you thought about potentially covering the white witch of Narnia because well, honestly, at least I think it could be interesting to see how you could interpret the white witch’s manipulative behaviors, ecological manipulation and maybe her horde of monsters as the traits of a relatively realistic animal.

This is a very unique take on Ice Dragons. I like how you make the wing-like appendages, as it could've fit in the World of Dragons quite well for "Hexapodal" Dragons. Also, it makes perfect sense that an Ice Dragon would be semi-aquatic, as it just seems right.

Wasn’t really expecting to see something like Ice Dragons in this season due to this time normally having Christmas themed stuff but I do love your take on this elemental monster. Other ice-breathers would be certainly interesting to see on the channel because in all honesty, they are much more tricky to figure out than fire breathers. Mayhaps Shimo could be related to this animal. The thought of elemental dragons has brought me to the dragons from the Ninjago franchise which would be really interesting to see made into realistic animals, especially with their bizarre life cycle. Overall I love seeing dragon episodes outside of the mainline World of Dragons series and I can’t wait for more on the way. (By the way I think the first non-WoD dragon was Rathalos)

Now onto today’s proposal which is one of the strangest I’ve done, Skibidi Toilet 😅

In this universe there are many races of people scattered throughout the cosmos, many of whom seek to expand their empires across the stars. Humans and Saiyans are among these but recently a powerful and quite annoying species has risen to prominence in our galaxy. From the few individuals that have invaded Earth we have learned a decent amount about their biology, technology and culture through their real intentions remain unknown due to language barriers. For the mean time we have dubbed this race “Skibidi Toilets” due to their physical characteristics and what seems like a universal part of their language. The Skibidi Toilets appear to be a kind of colonial organism similar to certain deep sea animals and have many different components that can be present on a single organism. The two most basal components are the shell and the head. The shell of the organism is only for basic protection from possible predators and has a muscular foot on the underside similar to a snail or the belly scales of snakes. This can accelerate the Toilet if it needs to run to catch prey or save itself, but it has a fatal weak point. Just behind the main head there is a bone that if damaged enough it can give the organism a seizure but despite this it isn’t that large of an issue for the Toilet due to its range of motion. Due to its foot it can quickly rotate to face its attacker head on and fight it, which it can using its large head. This head has a powerful crushing bite that is mainly used for quickly killing prey smaller than itself and swallowing it whole. The head of the Toilet can lunge outwards to help with its ambush lifestyle though it isn’t that good at running down prey over a long distance, which is why they stay in social groups to increase the odds of a successful kill.

As the Toilet develops new organs will develop to help it survive with each individual having a different arrangement of parts. One of the more infamous examples of this is the “laser eyes” of one of the higher ups in the Toilet’s society, which have developed from bioluminescent cells reflecting through a somewhat crystalline membrane concentrating into two beams of yellow light. These higher ups are often more experienced individuals who may have survived for centuries due to what seems like a form of biological immortality similar to the Deep Ones, though this is paired with indeterminate growth rates allowing some to grow to absolutely titanic proportions far larger than any Earth creature. The Toilets have expanded massively from their homeworld due to their extensive adaptability developing manipulation organs to help create technology. Due to their quick success they quickly overran their homeworld and head outwards into the cosmos in search of resources to fuel their inefficient empire. This has inevitably brought them into conflict with several other alien races which have been quickly exterminated under their might. Every defeat provides new knowledge and technology to the Toilets thus growing their power. One of these advances was advances in bionics to make themselves more adept for the void of space, supplying resources to massive cyborg spacecraft mutilated into weapons of war. With the massive expanses of the Skibidi Empire there will inevitably be some resistance movements, the largest of which being started from an ex-military commander and a scientific division that is currently operating close to Earth and hopefully doesn’t bring itself to us. In that case, may God help us all.

Awesome! Thanks! And also some interesting facts about polar adaptabilities! Some of them I didn't know about (The Kreb Cycle for example), and others were quite speculative and logical (especially the Frost Breath, nutrient absorption, and life cycle stuff!). Awesome! I'm really looking forward to the rest of DND Dragons and beyond! I truly love these kinds of redesigns, especially when they give a complementary approach to their defining elemental environment and especially in consideration of their folkloric roots! I like the color-changing scales and use of scutes for the ice dragon to capture the different coloration and the tendency for them to have a rough, spiky exterior. Plus, it even helps them with camouflage, and considering how other tundra and icy animals tend to have seasonal color changes, it fits right in; plus, it helps with their need for predator protection. While China has the Tiger and Dragon as rivals, the Arctic Circle might just have the Bear and the Ice Dragon instead.

That was an awesome idea! I have an idea myself for the Warden from Minecraft, being a giant amphibian that due to its cave-dwelling lifestyle, has lost its sight, relying on its smell and its hearing to navigate its environment. It's hearing is greatly amplified by sensitive hair-like structures on its external gills, which are made so the Warden can breathe both out of and under the water. Also, its most notable trait, it's the symbiotic relationship it formed with the sculk algae through the millions of years living in the damp caves, which aids it in nutrition, protection of its eggs and tadpoles and the gaining of its massive size. What do you think?

Cold climate varanid is a great take on this concept. I was expecting another World of Dragons episode though. Maybe, like some of your other critters, you can do a WoD version of a frost wyrm.

Interesting. I like the idea of ​​using their membranes as solar panels since they are ineffective for flying. 👏👍

And since they have the ability to retain heat inside, they must have rete mirabile and body fat.
