I have inflammation in the sacroiliac joint in my lower back and needed cortisone shots to ease the excruciating pain. Last year I decided to rub castor oil into the joint and within a week the pain was gone. I use it every night before bed and I can still feel a little knot in that spot but no pain AT ALL! I had surgery on my left wrist in November and knew it would be at least a year of pain and discomfort as the right wrist was done 3 years ago and still aches when it’s cold. 2 months ago I started using castor oil rubbed into my wrist and both wrists are completely pain free. I add Frankincense and Helicrysm (sp?) oils to castor oil to make it easier to absorb and rub it into my crepey lower arms and elbows. It’s great for healing cuts and bruises and I also use it on my dog’s under belly where the skin gets irritated from time to time. This stuff is a miracle when used diligently.
