Man, you are so awesome. Every time I feel down or in a tight spot regarding my musicianship you've got something that puts me back on track. I sincerely thank you for your time and effort.

I'm so happy to see marimba in this! I think it's a very underrated instrument but it can add so much character to music especially if you have an acoustic one with rosewood bars. I really love solo marimba music so If you haven't heard of these people already, definitely check out Ivan Trevino, Pius Cheung, Keiko Abe, and Robert Oetomo for some really beautiful solo marimba music.

Like other guy in the comments said, you make me really happy:) I’m not advanced enough to fully understand most of your videos but I enjoy watching them anyway...

I enjoyed your 'Little Ditty'. I was expecting a complex chord or melodic explanation. Great to think about rhythmic counterpoint and look at the dots. I just sort of let people I play with find their spot most of the time. I like the wave rising and receding build you have. In such a short space you have created lovely texture. The unexpected brings me joy. Clearly explained and coloured. I am grateful for the work you put into these terrific clips. Thank you Ben Levin

Is it just me or is there something very Gentle Giant-esque about the blue marimba counterpoint?

Would be interested to see how you would apply this method to non-diatonic harmonies in a way that is accessible to casual listeners. I often hear pop songwriters trying to throw in a chord that doesn't fit the scale and it just feels totally random, out of place, self-indulgent and doesn't serve the music. Whereas others can write these non-diatonic chord progressions that flow and feel so good and natural, even to people who don't really care for complex music.
