For those of you who don't know if this would work or not or wonder why this works is because by covering your mouth, you activate the core muscles which is what you're supposed to be using when singing high notes or even singing in general. So this method is a good way to practice before actually going and singing this to your friends or wherever

I did this and it works so well, i think the problem why my voice sounded dead was because i was belting my chest making it harder for me to go loud and releasing less air.
