Book Off Bazaars are insanely good. I was in Nagoya recently and went to one. Managed to grab 2 Love Live Blu Rays (1 was a limited edition booklet style) and 1 Bang Dream Music Booklet each for 500 yen. I looked up their prices and 2 of them retailed for around 7500-8500 yen while the limited edition one went for 10k yen. Wud definitely go to another one and look around the 500yen section.

1 volume ranges from 1.50$ - 3$
JJK volumes range maybe around 3$ the maximum, and by the time JJK ends i know well there will be around 30 volumes,
3 * 30 = 90
Ill be walking out of the store with the whole jjk manga series by spending 90$ (tax not included)

Manga is so cheap already that going to animate or gamers and getting it fresh is better imo. Then again I mainly buy LNs so idk how manga people feel about used stuff.

Second Hand have Atatürk high-quality in Japan compared to their countries. I might not buy books in Japan (as my Japanese skills aren’t good enough for reading them lol) but I often purchase second hand CDs or Concert Blu-Rays from like book-off/net-off, or from online second-hand services.

This is why there’s a lot of Japanese sellers on eBay that sell Japanese version manga to Americans for $20 each. A lot of money to be made in Japan selling used anime goods online for a profit! And before people get mad it helps local Japanese shops sell things that are common to them.

Man I wanna order manga online....mangas like tsurezure children are not translated and are not available in my country. And the shipping cost and custom duty is so high it actually costs more than the manga itself. Man make a video on this topic😢
