The "Obvious" question for Derek Schmidt - Honorable Mr. Schmidt; While you were in office you allowed Kansas employers to ignore law which resulted in Kansas having a 32% unemployment rate for soldiers. Why did you feel that citizens of Kansas who honorably served deserved an unemployment rate of 32% (4th worst in the United States - resulting in a 24% suicide rate in those who had honorably served - source 'PBS"). I could add - 'Just because I am a White Veteran, and not one of those Veterans of Hispanic ethnicity the Honorable Governor Brownback (who you supported like Bill Barr supported Trump) - doesn't mean I am onboard with voting for or supporting anyone that predicated such an Anti-American sentiment as you did with your office - for a governor who had to apologize for derogatory comments made towards someone simply because they had a darker skin color. "I get that this is Kansas - so your choice is 'what republican is going to be put on the ticket'." That the current Governor is a Democrat openly shows how horrible Sam Brownback (who you clearly aided) served this state. FYI (for those who don't know) - There is no Democratic party website in the State of Kansas, it was written off long ago. If you see a Dem in Kansas - they are literally someone that was so sick of what they lived through going on that they were willing to wear a D on their chest to oppose it. Case in point - where did Sam Brownback (who robbed our schools - guy you happily supported) go after his willingness to decimate this state got him voted out "FOR A Democrat"? Oh that's right, he took a cabinet position serving under Trump - because no one else would have him.
