This has been a WHIRLWIND of an experience with lots of highs, lows, frustrations, surprises, and ultimately celebrations as we close on our first home. In this vlog, I'm showing the entire process of buying our first home in 2023 for anyone other first-time homebuyers who have absolutely no idea what to expect (like we didn't), plus some empty house tour snippets. It feels so wild (and gratifying) that after years and years of saving and never knowing when this would be realistic, we happened to stumble upon exactly what we were looking for and were lucky to get the first home we made an offer on. yeah I cried a lot when making a decision if I wanted to buy our apartment :D a lot of people weight in and it was making me confused af. it is a process, that's for sure. overall - I bought it and it was the best decision ever. I love living outside of the city and having so much space and gardens!

I bought my first house in 2020 and that was a flip and had basically the exact same experience with the inspections and negotiations. It all worked out but we've definitely had some surprises of things we had to fix. It's definitely not the end of the world and I don't regret it but just know you're not alone!!
