*Erkut Taçkın, one of the early pioneers of Turkish rock music, began his music journey while still a student, performing with the Naval Military College Band. In 1962, he moved to Germany to work in a factory, but his love for music never left him. He joined a band called Black Point, which later became known as Erkut Taçkın and the Durul Gence Quintet. After spending some time making music in Germany, he returned to Turkey and became one of the leading names in beat music. In 1975, he released an album under his own name, featuring the song *Sevmek İstiyorum*, one of his well-known tracks*
