Over 200 years old farm, short tour of Kvekgården in Sweden.

Kvekgården is a farm with buildings from the 18th and early 19th century that's been turned into an open air museum. Today we take a short walk around that farm.

Thanks for the tour of Kvekgården! Impressive that they have managed to maintain this outline of buildings for over 200 years, it really gives us a chance to understand how people lived back in the day. Sometimes when I see these kind of things or read about how people lived like 150-200 years ago I just try to remind myself how lucky one is to be alive today. It must have been so much tougher back then with darkness, coldness and people had to rely so much on what the land nearby could give them. Not to mention how vulnerable they were to diffferent type of sicknesses etc. We are really lucky to be alive today, we should remind ourselves sometimes! This lady who lived here until 1926 when she was 97 years old, that is remarkable! People were built differently back then.

My family farm is from the 1540's, so 200 isnt that old.
