The second option was the easiest (the finger trick) been using it a lot, but I guess it stopped working after the latest update? Anyone here who experienced the same thing? 😭

UPDATED SECOND CHOICE (even with video)

You take the subject you want to be the top layer and make it as as even as possible in the middle (leaving space on the top & bottom but touching the left & right of ur screen perfectly)

Then, import & take the background image and tap it until u get the Story Sized image (u go thru options like star, heart, square) size it to the full story perfectly how u wish. The start tapping it again until you get the star shape ( it gives you tapping room to then bring the subject on top of the background)

IMPORTANT; since the subject got moved to the front of ur background you have to then shrink by using two fingers so u can move it around over your background. AVOID touching the background tho. If you do it by accident it will send your desired subject back but u can just repeat the process until u hit the star.

The finger one stopped working with one of these updates. So sad to hear because this is my favorite picture. Is anyone having issue with adding music to stories and it making it a bad quality?

the second one doesn't work. when pressing the post the other fingers just interact with it too, and vice versa with the pic for the background 🥺💔

it is u just need to change the size of the photo into star or circle after u tap the post in front then u have to tap on the background photo to normal shape
