Beyond that, I've met Sam in person and have seen all the analytics from his channels, so I can say with 100% assurance that Sam is who he says he is, and has done what he says he's done. Hope this helps clarify things!

So far, here are my notes:
1. Create videos that could be posted onto your competitor's channels, and no one would notice ( look at the most viral videos and take bits and pieces of it to create your own video)
2. Being completely unique these days is impossible.
3. Make the hook where you want something unexpected. But your goal is to deliver the message by the end of the video
4. Say something funny and people probably would notice that and go point that out in the comments.
5. Universal challenges-throw it straight and ask people sth that could apply to everyone (name, age, country, time)-this could get more comments.
6. Quality and the idea of the video are important
7. Average view duration around 80% is what you aim at
8. Audio quality and the length of video matter( also pay attention to how often the visuals change)
9. You're always aiming for quality (could it be video or audio)
* those are just a few insights, there are surely more points introduced in the video

He's a natural at psychology. I like how he definitely didn't reinvent the wheel but did take the time to do his research. He also looked at the shorts from a very technical point of view. And he did what most great artists have done over time-- take the best parts from everywhere and put them together with his own spin.❤

I came on this video just to give my own personal testimony.

I was going through the slump. Videos just stopped getting views suddenly.

I listened to this video, took the advice, put more effort in my video.

And instantly. First video after listening. Im getting more engagement. More views.

Just wanted to say thank you, you have given me advice that was darn near instant in results.

Highly recommend new youtubers to listen and really take in what that young man is saying.

Amazing video, especially because Shorts have been working really great for me on my second channel. I mean, I am just small content creator and I work really hard (I also use a little bit of famester, but that is a necessity nowadays). I just give all my videos a small initial boost, and that caused them to spread out literally everywhere, bringing more and more organic views day after day.

The more i watch videos like this, the more i realise how people like this guy made youtube extremely hard to compete with other youtubers and how the algorithm becomes difficult to break in every single day

Starting in a niche where most people don't really pay attention to but it is what you are good at is really difficult. Story telling is my niche but it seems people dont really like subscribing to it
But i will keep at it though... No giving up.
Well done Marcus for your selfless advice and suggestions.

Brilliant listening to him, he mentioned YouTubers not adapting, well that's not always the case, unlike himself people fall in love with the character (the youtuber) creating the content so even if this person does not adapt that much they are still getting hundreds of thousands of views and subscribers. Himself is not that character as he relies on copying and recycling, he'll never be that character, how long can you keep that up for i don't know but good luck to him.

Makes me feel like an 🫏 pouring hours into each minute of production. Interesting there are 2 types of youtubers. One that want to share (usually new) content to help others and another that just care about revenue or going viral. And equally interesting is as soon as you start producing unique content, you want to go viral to maximize viewership. But more so to further share your content. Thanks as always for this!
