What is the Apostles Creed? (In 90 Seconds)

Many churches affirm the Apostles Creed from the early church or Patristic period. But who wrote the Apostles Creed? Did the 12 apostles of Jesus write the Apostles Creed or someone else? Dr. Reeves is very good....and I love his videos, they're so well done. But you can tell that he is certainly not Catholic because he never refers to the earliest church as Catholic, as it most certainly was.

What I don't get is all ritual aspects to Christianity, when Jeshua walked the earth, there was no vetting process a year long, or even memorized creeds? I seem to recall, The Messiah speaking out on ritualistic prayers.

Christians always a creedal bunch? Well, they might in fact have been but that's not supported by Scripture. There are no examples of any convert doing that. I don't get the mindset of the early "fathers" who decided that to depart from the writings available was a good thing. "Let's make this thing up as we go along" was THEIR creed.
