Before jumping into it, remember some supplements are best taken for a period of time, but not permanently. If anything, taper off for awhile and go back as Alpha GPC is linked to strokes and L-Tyrosine is not meant to be taken daily past a 3 month mark.

Great video. I've been taking L-Tyrosine for the last couple of months and it has made a difference with my focus. I am now experimenting with taking it at different times and with / without food. Instead of the 5 minutes "warm up" and especially if you are in an office, I'd create a little ritual: make a cup of coffee, clear the desk apart from a notepad and pen, maybe put some music on if you can. There's the 5 minutes there without looking "weird" 😉

Med student here with raging adhd. Amazing video these tools are seriously a game changer

When I study for long blocks of time (pomodoro for example) I put a piece of paper and a pen next to me so anytime I have a distracting thought or remember something that I want to do I jot it down. And then go back to work. This way I am not distracted by other tasks and those thoughts are no longer taking up brain space and I can address them afterwards.

I can attest to the L-Tyrosine! I've been using L-Tyrosine for years - first thing in the morning I pop a 500mg capsule with a cup of tea (caffeinated) - it all kicks within 20 minutes. I work from home and always put my running gear on first thing in the morning (I don't actively plan a run, I just gear up for one and wait for my mind to "tell" me when) then after about 1 hour after taking the L-Tyrosine and caffeinated tea I often feel a different kind of boost that just tells my brain "It's a good time to run" - I never ignore that trigger to take action, even if it I only run 1 mile (it's not the distance, it's the actual taking action and doing it that is important). There is no single solution magic pill, these are just some that work for me and as someone diagnosed with ADHD and Autism (who doesn't use ADHD meds) just these simple things have been a game changer. Last word: Meditation!

I will say that for me going down to the deeper why is scary, because I know that what I'm doing is the difference between a life I want and one that I don't. Fear can take over at that point, so it's important to not focus on the negative of not doing the thing, but the positive that can come from the thing you're about to do.

Great video, my only concern is that if you rely on drugs to help you focus, you may become dependent on them; your ability to naturally focus will become diminished.

Every one must try, experiment, and choose for himself. Because FOCUS is a very large subject. There is not only 1 recipe, functioning for everybody. First, to sit on a chair is absolutely not natural and best option for performance... :) Your video is very well done, but it's just a small part of what is focus. ;)

Im suggest meditation and yoga practice. Do you some use it ? No medic, no destroy focus telephone call or many many stupid notification from smartphone or email or windows pop up, and many ads on YT.
