One question I have, there's renderers just for Houdini, well how do I choose one? What criteria there is to them? Apart from Mantra which is already in (So no need for an extra license), what's the pro and cons to the others? That's really confusing me

but could u do for me basic material but from the biggening, open a cube put camera and put light for mantra. i saw your tutorial but u don't explain that.

New to houdini and been trying some tutorials. I keep running into an issue with the live render window. It will work for a while, but then suddenly without warning the render screen goes blank. Am I missing something fundamental? It's really quite frustrating if I'm being honest. Any help from someone would be appreciated
