Something like that happened to me when I was like 11. I was the very unpopular kid and everyone basically hated me because i was “dumb” even though they were jealous because i was too smart for them. The strongest person on the other team literally threw the most inflated and probably strongest dodgeball straight at my head, and I had glasses. It hit me at like 200 mph and my glasses shattered, some of the pieces going into my skin. I literally had a huge cut on the top of my forehead, and I passed out face-first onto the hard gym floor. Literally everyone stared at me for a second then kept playing like nothing happened. The teachers, though, they immediately stopped the game and rushed to my aid. I had to get a bunch of stitches and even got eye surgery, because a piece of glass went straight into my eye. It still traumatizes me sometimes, but i’ve grown up strong, independent, and currently am in veterinary school.

No, this isn’t fake. Things like this can happen, and I ain’t gonna argue with people who think i’m just trying to get attention.
