In this video, I show you everything you need to know about cats in Minecraft. They can be found in both Minecraft Java and Bedrock Editions. The cat has had some changes over the years, and are now found in villages and swamp huts. Ocelots are no longer required. I show you how to tame cats, how to breed cats, introduce you to all of the cat breeds in Minecraft, cat behaviour, and even how cats can save your life in Minecraft. I love Minecraft cats!😻 I usually play in Peaceful mode, and I was able to easily level up my cleric villager because of the tradable gifts the cats brought at night. Plus, it looks adorable when they sleep on you!

I tame a cat because I really like them. After I know the creepers are afraid of them, I used my cat as guard around my house. But I didn't know they can bring some gift, it makes sense now that I got a rabbit foot out of nowhere.

I only need Scar's cat to complete the collection and I absolutely cannot get her. Several have run off into jungles, never to be seen again. Another chose to drown herself to avoid coming home with me. I will get you someday Jellie!

Thank you for this video. I went on a wood harvesting trip with a few tamed cats and they made it to my makeshift home but on the way home to my main base the cats didn't teleport to me. Now I think maybe I went too fast and left the area where they were and maybe if I go back I can find them. We'll see.

I'm absolutely obsessed with cats in Minecraft. In one world, I tamed at least 20 of the feisty felines, 17 of which took over my triple bed once they got comfortable. I didn't get around to building a house specifically for them but I will eventually in my current world.

One more thing. If they sit down, they are stuck. They don't teleport. I've misplaced a couple that way. They will meow from wherever they are stuck, however.

Me and my bf were playing minecraft and we tamed two cats, one of them is a persian cat (mine) and a british shorthair (his) i almost died of cuteness when i saw my cat laying on me and purring while i sleep🥹

I've found that cats will randomly spawn outside of my iron farm/village breeder as well (presumably because of the villagers). So far, I've had three cats randomly spawn like this.

In game and in life we name our pets after someone in Star Wars. Using a fandom as a name pool keeps you from being that guy yelling “DE-LI-CIOUS!!!” or some overused name

Just learned something about cats today you should add. I'm building a menagerie for mobs and the enclosure I build for the cats we're acting weird. They were all running up to one side of the wall. Turns out they wanted to go to the village nearby. It seems if you spawn a cat into the overworld they will want to go to the nearest village and stay there
