Big Vern ‘n’ the Shootahs are a rockin’ nine piece soul band from Glasgow, Scotland playing well known covers with the twist of a soul/funk vibe. We are a bunch of friends who perform music in our spare time and who have grown from a one off show for a dear friend, to becoming the most sought after band for events and parties in the country.

We don’t take ourselves too seriously which certainly comes across in our live shows – we are not shy – all accomplished musicians collectively having fun and gettin’ on with it – we aim to please and don’t miss and hit the wall – we strive to be live and love the vibe that an audience enjoying themselves throws back at us…….if you simply want a ‘live jukebox’ then you should really be looking elsewhere……but, if you are looking for a band to set your event on fire then……Big Vern n the Shootahs are your boys.
