Just from the amount of references alone I'm guessing this will be a heavily Scout focused feature. The "Sandman", "Bonkers", even Ms. Pauling being here supports this idea.

Theory time! I did a touch of digging and it turns out murder inc is the name of a particularly infamous group of mafia trigger men. Between the old-time aesthetic and the fact that thanks to emesis blue, we know that the Merc’s were all once death row inmates I theorize that this will be a prequel to team fortress 2 showcasing how each of those mercs rose to prominence and were eventually recruited by Mannco

Haven't seen anyone else mention it but I honestly love the detail at 0:53, where the man recordings is using a "Bill and Howard" camera
Directly based off of the "Bell and Howell" camera that Abraham Zapruder used to record what ended up as the most important recording of JFK's assassination

In the gunshot alone, the hammer fires, muzzle flash and accurate sound, casing eject, hammer not being fully cocked until the slide is back, the bullet being inserted when the slide is back, and being accurately inserted. and even the casing being slightly widened by being fired.
