The new Nerf Delta Trooper has got some big shoes to fill. The Retaliator was one of the most loved blasters in the entire hobby, and now this is meant to succeed it. New attachments, new style, and included Slamfire do change things up a bit; but the lack of aftermarket parts could be a deal breaker for many.

I actually like that odd sweep in the barrel-attachment... I can see a "masterkey" blaster like a Baron or even a Wrathbolt going there.

Yeah, I'm still all about that Wrathbolt masterkey.

This blaster is a page out of BuzzBee with higher fps, short stock, wonky grip, and accessories that really only look aesthetically compatible for the main blaster.

Seems like a cool blaster. I guess the upsweep on the barrel could be useful for some kind of pump action mod, since you could probably mount the pump a bit higher up than on a Retaliator. That would be really cool with the slamfire. Those square parts underneath might make it impractical, though.

I am a huge fan of the retaliator and loved the button release on the Jyn Erso blaster. This takes both and makes it a awesome blaster. Assuming that it takes pump grips, this can be an monster on the field. I just hope that it lives up to it's older brother, the retaliator, and doesn't live in its shadow.

I am not a huge modder but I do feel that there will be a lot of outcry once the Retaliator is discontinued because it does not have slam fire and that is why people adore the Retaliator for modding; a direct plunger, non slamfire, springer primary, that is very good with installing kits.

I know that there is the long shot but that is a bit more difficult.

I want one. If I had a 3d printer, I'd give it a stock cap and replace the barrel with a smaller, thicker barrel. I think it would look cool as a scifi handcannon thing

When it comes to stocks, I'm limited to what i can use. I currently use the Regulator stock, but my Recon Mk II stock i used to use is to slippery. That Delta Trooper stock looks like it would work well.

I'm not convinced about this blaster. I think it is a solid pass for me, at least until third party people can figure out accessories for it. And the lack of rail is abysmal, I guess rails are for Modulus blasters only now.

It does look Ok with the stock, but that barrel looks like the north-end of a south-bound mule. If a blaster doesn't have that exact line, the barrel will be terrible.

this thing used to be my main blaster, and if I’m using springers it still is my main. this thing is awesome, I run it barreless with the modulus stock gun thing.
