Stand Up Paddling Li River China on the FIT OCEAN Magic Glide 10'8 inflatable SUP Board

Touring the Li River in China on a Stand Up paddle board, passing through spectacular karst peaks scenery.
A great adventure to see China from another perspective.

We started this trip with a high speed train arriving in Guilin where we pumpedup the board. Immediately people came wanting to help pumping :)

The river flow itself s pretty fast so wearing a leash is not recommended. Wearing a good lifevest is recommended. You can do great distances because of the flow.

For this trip we took FIT OCEAN Magic Glide 10'8 because it is very light, which makes it great travelling on public transport. Furthermore the board is very stable and rides high on the water with it's 6'' (15cm thickness), both is great on choppy water. Lastly the board has 3 fins,ofwhich the large fin could be removedwhen the water was shallow. The board performed as expected.

Further recommendations are bringing enough cash on the trip as you encounter very remote places where cash is neccessary.

All in all we traveled 3 days, met amazing new people. Highlight of the trip was helping a senior carrying up the laundry she washed at the river to her home and in return being invited for lunch!
