so, for the last item, it's ok to give up on the Jack of All Trades 10 stacks? because once you sell the doran's, all items bring 0-1 new stat types, except for serpent's fang that brings lethality into the table to substitute for lifesteal.

First of all I love to see you cover niche picks like this one. Before this video, I saw Lourlo running Tank Jayce with Cosmic-Inside. Do you think cosmic is also a good choice (or even better??) in comparism to JoaT because the item haste is kinda valuable for the core build. Would love to hear your opinion about that.

I just wanna say, when i go shield bash instead of demolish, in one game i did over 6k bonus damage to champions, it is a big trade for not being to able push very good but its really nice if you prefer fighting alot.,

Played against it as Malphite. My Nocturne kept ulting onto Jayce again, and again. And nobody else on my team built healing reduction (I had rushed Bramble Vest as I backed on exactly 800 GP for my first back).

Pretty interesting. I do wonder how these tank builds will look once riot is back in the office. Will it be the usual, slap down offenders with baby touches, the items with a bat, and the actual targets of said items for a double dip? Changing it up so that one can still go with these items but offer say 30% less stats because <not a tank> could add some slight variety to the buff/nerf cycle without riot giving up and taking one item out and introduce a new/worse one back in.

But then I doubt they want to do that vs. just follow the new year's template of what riot wants meta/not meta in pro and be lazy wtih everything else.

I don't quite understand what advantages this has over playing an actual tank like maokai or ornn aside from a stronger laning phase
