Cheap trick is one of the greatest bands ever. Saw them in SanDiego they opened up for Rod Stewart. About 2 years . At the Chula Vista Amphitheater. They killed it.

Jamming with friends in a private setting and recording a YouTube video but paying with the same intensity and energy as if it were a stadium concert. Saw Cheap Trick live in the 80s and they sound just as good now.

Every-single-time I hear Cheap Trick I wonder why I wasn’t all in on them back in the 70s.

Live from Budokan was huge and I loved it but somehow I didn’t obsess about them.

A real missed opportunity but I’m happy to be grabbing their vinyl and spinning it now.

In 1973 I lived in Rochelle Illinois, my cousin took me to Rockford Illinois to see Cheap Trick in a little 150 seat club. I was 14 and it's been a ride. So lucky to have been there at almost the beginning lol
