Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik announces Rs 50 lakh for martyrs who die fighting COVID 19

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday announced that his government would consider those medical and support staff who died in the line of their duty while fighting COVID-19 as 'martyrs' and that they and their families would be entitled to Rs 50 lakh ex gratia compensation as well as a state funeral.
