This is a brilliant method for folding a soap mould liner out of one piece of non-stick baking paper or freezer paper. No cutting, no leaks, just one sheet of paper, folded perfectly to fit your soap mould.

With this method, a simple plastic or cardboard container and some or non-stick baking paper, you can get started with your soap making straight away! There is no need to purchase fancy soap moulds to get started with soap making, just use whatever you have on hand.

I haven't paper lined a mould for years because the way I learned how was so ridiculously complicated. I may dig out my old wooden moulds and give this a try. Thanks for sharing.

I used this method to line my 14" long wooden mold. It works! This is by far the easiest method for me.

This is the best video I've ever seen on mold lining, I swear. Common sense blended with skills, which is sadly rare nowadays. So much easier than so many professional soap makers make it out to be as well. Thanks so much for the video. I had been using smaller molds - 2 KG - & making multiple batches at a time until I ordered much larger molds to fulfill orders. Problem was, no liners came with them, and they hold A LOT of soap.

I am just about to fill one of those large molds with soap. Just waiting for my lye to drop to around room temperature, then ran across your video.

Brilliant method, thanks Elly. I've just lined a small mould and it's really neat. I like that there are no gaps for the soap batter to leak through.

After watching several other videos and throwing paper across the room because it just didn't work. I just lined my mold on the first attempt with no problems. I can finally use this mold after owning it a few months. Thank you so much for making this video.

I just scored a homemade wooden tool box for $2, 50 that screws apart and is essentially a soap mold like yours! I came looking for a way to make a liner and your video is brilliant!
