Mormon Church Faces Lawsuit For Operating “Scheme Of Lies”

The Corporation of the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has filed a motion to dismiss a class action lawsuit that claims the LDS religion is a “scheme of lies.” Plaintiff Laura A. Gaddy says the LDS church influenced through misrepresentation and concealment to engineer an attraction to faith in the core beliefs of Mormonism. That is why I never go to church. It's a sin of greed, sin of lies, and sin of judgment that they do. They use God's word for their financial motives. That is why I never go to church. I still pray to god and you don't have to go to church to at all. As long as your a good person, and never hurt anyone, and be giving to the less fortunate people is more important than life. God will see that from you. But don't go to church because they don't care about you. They care about what you give them financially. There a bunch of hypocrites!

The LDS Church & all the people especially the higher up are cheap & they do whatever they can to screw over anyone they can. My ex supervisor took a whole case of Tic Tac's from his Brother who worked at a Homeless Shelter & said what do Homeless people need with Tic Tac's? I was in Awe that he even had to ask. To take anything from the homeless is downright deplorable & Disgusting.

as a former member of the church this is spot on .if you don't pay a full tithing they won't help you .they charge you to buy the sacred garments to wear in the temple an for everyday life .an if you need food from the bishops storehouse and don't pay a full tithing you will just have to go hungry the list of thing like this goes on an on

I live in Utah, and this is a bunch of lies. People donate their time, not out force, but because they want to volunteer to help others. They have beat many governments in times of natural disasters to get aid to people around the world. Those involved do it out of love, not force.

Um.. you need to talk to more Latter Day Saints guys. No one is forced to do anything and if you are asked to help out somewhere, it is perfectly OK to say no. We Are followers of Jesus Christ. That means we try to help each other by spending time together, visiting our widows and disabled members, and yes sometimes cleaning :-) Tithing is mandated in the Bible. We try our best to follow the laws of God. I hope this helps clear up some misunderstandings.
