Credit where credit is due. I lost power for over 2 weeks during Ike and Harvey. During the huge Texas freeze, 36 hours and it was 33 degrees in my house. To get power for over 85% of people in about a week is an impressive feat. I checked up on my parents yesterday. I saw over 10 crews running simultaneously on hw6. This is impressive and organized.

Praying for all of Houston. 🙏 Im not far from there, but by the grace of God, got my electric turned on in 14 hours after the storm. We really need to bury the electric underground, to prevent alot of this.

It's down to 180, 000 now. Pretty good fix for almost a million without power from those straight line tornados that went all the way to Florida.

My grocery store as of yesterday had all their frozen and chilled sections empty. Guess they lost power for 16 hours, but I'm surprised they tossed everything, including the creamer? I leave that stuff out for hours and it's fine. These long reaching consequences feel like the aftermath of a major storm, not a one hour wind fest that hardly anyone even knew was coming.

Here's an idea, call me crazy but how about set up temp generators at these nursing homes, until supply is restored.🙄
