WACOSS State Budget Briefing

Every year WACOSS delivers a Budget Briefing to the community service sector, presenting detailed analysis on how the State Budget will impact the community services sector across key areas of interest and themes.

This year the State Budget (8 October) coincides close to the Federal Budget (6 October) and the presentation looks at the intersectionality of the two budgets, as we edge closer to the State Election in March 2021.

We welcomed special guests Michael Barnes, Under Treasurer, and Michael Andrews, Acting Executive Director of Strategic Policy and Evaluation, along with Alan Duncan and Rebecca Cassells from Bankwest Curtin Economic Centre (BCEC).
