This was at the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills one of the tournaments at this course before the greens got so dry people couldn’t even keep the ball on the green. What he did was stupid but it’s not cheating he got penalized for it he had no chance of winning anyway.

It was actually very smart, as long as he actually made the putt at least. That ball would’ve likely rolled off the surface of the green and Gina all the way down to the collection area, and it would be a very tough up and down
