Limassol is the second largest urban area in Cyprus after Nicosia. The old town of Limassol is the heart of the city with its narrow streets radiating out from the old fishing harbour.

The Promenade in Limassol is hugely popular with holidaymakers for its view of the sea, the sandy beaches, and the palm-coated surroundings, with the backdrop of its long and close proximity sea shore and various water parks, creates a wonderful atmosphere for adults and children of all ages.

Limassol has always been a lovely place, but after not having been there for over 10 years, I am surprised at the amount of graffiti everywhere. A shame, but I still miss the place. Thanks so much for the excellent footage.

I lived 12 years in Cyprus. The bridge you walked by near Marina was detailed by me, including 3 buildings there. Beautiful country and beautiful weather.

My niece lives in Limassol and has for 2 years shes a teacher, the one thing that she wishes that would change was all the stray cats, a lot of them are sick and seeing dead kittens in the summer is not nice. In the village wear she lives she has taken it upon herself, to leave food for the colony there, because the stray cat problem is all over the island, she even tried to find a catch release neuter organisation but there is none near her . THERE is a dog shelter and she volunteers there twice a month the stray animals is a real issue on the island.
