BYU Women's Conference Returns

One of the largest gatherings of Latter-day Saint women in the world is underway at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, this week. Members of the Relief Society general presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints opened the BYU Women’s Conference at the Marriott Center on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

The conference for women of faith was held virtually for two years during the pandemic and was put on hold in 2022.

You know, I’ve always heard Women’s Conference is great, and it’s very uplifting to be in a women only space, but why don’t we have Men’s Conference? Why did we get rid of the Priesthood Session of Conference? We no longer have Boy Scouts, and Father & Sons activities are basically nonexistent, why are we eradicating men only spaces? If Women’s Conference is such a boon for the women of the church, wouldn’t a Men’s Conference also be good for the men of the church?
