IBM is a challenge to understand and treat, because there appear to be two different underlying processes at work: inflammation and muscle degeneration. In this session an IBM expert from Washington University School of Medicine and TMA's Medical Advisory Board reviews how these processes work in the muscles and how they relate to current and future therapies.
