Prime Minister Mark Carney said Canada would defend its workers and companies after U.S. President Donald Trump announced 25 per cent tariffs on foreign-made vehicles. Carney said Canada could impose additional retaliatory tariffs even in an election, adding he would wait to meet with the Canada-U.S. relations cabinet committee meeting to make further announcements.
