Privateer Press- Riot Quest enters the Wintertime Wasteland!

I liked the first season of Riot Quest enough to grab the second box, Wintertime Wasteland at retail.
Models were pretty simple to fit together. I thought they were a bit beefier than the first season's figures. The box however was a lot flimsier. That was a bit of a disappointment. I guess everything is going in my season one box.
Rules are pretty straightforward and don't read substantially different than the previous season, at least to my quick reads through them.
I do like that Privateer continues to publish rules for all these characters in their flagship games as well.
I have to scratch my head questioningly as to why we have two repeat characters in the box- seriously, why? Why not just make two completely different people? We already had Boomhowler and Black Bella? Were there no other named characters available to choose from? Why not Borka and Anastasia DiBray? Or totally new people? Just a real odd choice.
Hopefully I'll track down some of the expansion people soon enough!

Using vax paper reduces the need for disposable plastic. I guess that is the reason for packing the figures and cards in this release. I do not know for certain, though.

I really liked them but not a fan of metal. Wish they was plastic or resin. Never had much success with metal miniatures.
