this happened a few nights ago and i already have mommy issues and my dad always says that he doesnt trust my stepmom, and he said that if she was lying about certain things he would take off his ring and leave her...that made me cry and i couldnt do anything about it cause they thought i was still asleep so i just had to listen....

I can relate to this due to my depression of having fake friends everywhere even when I thought someone who looked like my fake friend..I waved..she didn’t answer…till I looked..she was not a friend she was a stranger..I got embarrassed.. and ran to my mom..now I have anger issues, depression, mental health and a lack of energy…sometimes I got into a fight but I got in the *hospital* for a week…my sis is sometimes mean to me she would slap me or hit me hardly without saying sorry to me but after a day she would say it… and guess what?

Yeeeaaah, I relate. My dad was yelling at my two siblings yesterday about something they did, and I basically blocked out almost their entire conversation with a Hunger Games book. There was another time where I was hiding in the bathroom and had used music to distract myself from what had happened outside. Every day I've had to use fiction, music, or sleep to avoid certain situations. It helps a lot though.
