Namaskar, 🙏🙏🙏🙏
India's GDP growth actually reflects the wealth of the top 1%. 40% of India's wealth is controlled by this 1% - who also broadly control the politics and the media. Meanwhile - Over 35% of Indian children, about 168 million, have been marked as stunted due to malnutrition. This is worse than many African countries such as Burkina Faso. Lack of protein in the typical Indian diet is exacerbated by poverty. Further, there are 167 million people at risk of Iodine deficiency in India which affects brain functionality. Alarming - that India's political class or its supposedly free media does not see this as an issue- instead focusing on religion and caste.🙏🙏
