On Sunday (26 Jan) in Los Angeles, #LosAngeles Police Department ordered a hard closure on #Palisades Road after a #mudflow amid recent rains spread across the roadway.
A bulldozer crew was on scene working to clear the lanes.
As of now there is no official information as to whether anyone was injured.
Mudflows and #mudslides are often a consequence of #wildfires followed by #rain as the rain water cannot sink into the ground due to burn scars.
