I waited for the video to finish before commenting. It was a good video, however. I disagree with this being a toei “creation” as toriyama himself 20-30 years ago said he really liked GT making goku a kid again and wishing he thought of that. Even said how he loved the ss4 design as well as other concepts.

With that said ever since the reveal of daima toriyama has made comments about it and what is is. He clearly stated it is 100% a passion project for him, and he isn’t just simply “involved” as he not only designed all the characters but he did the entire story (to my understanding, I’m assuming he finished it) and all the concepts. This is his full creation.

He was involved with super and some of the movies yes some more than others. But that’s can be as simple as a character design or a concept.

As for the marketing, yeah Daima released stuff timely I guess you could say. Yes fans reacted. But I saw a lot more fans online speaking on their frustration on the lack of marketing, and the fans pushed for it. So I agree fans did the marketing but I’m not entirely sure it was a planned thing or that it was in a positive way, as I said they were frustrated. Overall a good video, I just don’t agree with you making it seem like Daima was a corporate thing and not something toriyama himself wanted when he stated it being a passion project for him.

Also the reveal for Daima was very mixed, a lot of people wanted super season 2 or whatever. Me being one of them but i wasnt hating on Daima I was just confused.

Daima kinda just ruined dragon ball for me it just showed that they don’t care about goku as a character anymore he used to be smart and serious while still having a sense of humor now he’s just goofy and dont forget about all the other ssj that just popped up in the tournament of power 😭

Gang don't get caught into the editing trap. Its a lot of extra work and it doesn't really enhance the video, its quite distracting for this type of content. Focus on your writing instead.
