How EA Tricked The Entire FIFA Community

EA FC 25 is finally out, a new cycle begins. We have seen over the course of last year, many of us complaining and giving EA Sports a lot of slack for how they handle the games. Yet, seemingly it's all forgotten once the new one rolls around. I can't say I'm too upset about that. I actually believe these recent FIFA/EA FC titles have been fun. I've been playing since FIFA 13 and I can tell you that every FIFA since then has been bad in many aspects. Somehow in the end however I am happy to play it again and again. Could I be addicted? Um..... no, of course I'm not. (I'm foaming out the mouth thinking of this game) I do want to thank everyone for the support regardless of the frequency of uploads. Love you all.

I hate how cards nowadays barely last you two weeks before they turn to shit. Plus you have to copy people's formations, squads, and even playing styles to compete. If not for different kits, I'd swear I'm playing the exact same player every time. No voice chat in FUT and new promos every few days make it a chore to play just to keep up. Take a couple weeks off the game and you might as well not hop on for the rest of the year.

Its not just about how our lives have changed, its all the gimicky tactics, playstyles, ratings that the game draws you to play the newer game, and then in actual gameplay the first 20 minutes your up 3 nil because it all works for you or it doesnt for your opponent, and then the remaining 70 minutes there is a wide open defense that allows your opponent to run into, and your players cant make a pass or they take an additional touch to pass the ball or stalls the pass so it could get intercepted by the opponent, and they equalize which is so obviously designed by code.

They don't even bother to hide it that well, and its all so that either you or your opponent can feel this so called sensation of "Challenge" that is artificially created by the game outside of its natural gameplay included as "dramatic moments".

Its all designed so the casual player feels like he can play better if he had better cards but its not true, even with the best player releases at the end of the game cycle the win/loss ratio is just the same, goals were not any better either, neither was the AI.

Fifa back then was about building fun teams and playing stress free
now its all a compettition, everyone is looking for what is the most broken tech to win games with 0 skill invlolved.
The new games force you to play a linear way, no freedom in how you want to play, either follow the meta or get left behind.
and the game is so damn stressful to play.

I hadn’t played FIFA since 17 before fc24 and I really liked the game. Sure it was sweaty but it was one of my most played games in the last year. But looking at this years I cant justify spending near enough 100 quid on what feels like a patch worthy features. I like the sentiment at the end though, great vid 🙏🏽
